What is Reiki
Reiki is a form of alternative therapy commonly referred to as energy healing. It emerged in Japan in the late 1800s and is said to involve the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner’s palms to their patient. The relaxation response that happens during a Reiki session can help people find relief from anxiety, which can elevate mood and alleviate depression. Studies have also shown help with pain management. These effects can also lead to a better quality of life. Please note, there is debate on if Reiki has any effect at all, we encourage you to do your own research and use your own judgment regarding the power of Reiki.
